The AUSTA Reading Day for 2013 has taken place at Somerville House, and again we saw excellent writing by local composers such as Stephen Chin, Timo Jarvela, Matthew Hoey, Keith Sharp, Michael Stocks, and Neridah Oostenbroek to name just a few.
I was proud to show off my new concertinos for solo violin, viola, cello and double bass. It was pleasing that they were well received and are already attracting interest both in their full arrangement for solo instrument and string orchestra, as well as the reduced version for solo instrument and piano. I will be recording these works soon and posting the audio here, so check back late March if you would like to hear them.
